This is one of my most recent meal preps that I shared with my private accountability group on Facebook. I also shared a short clip with them… I am trying to get better with this whole social media thing and work on my youtube page and IG as well!! (stay tuned). For now here is an image of my food prepped for my family. I also prep some foods for my daughter as well.
Meal Prep Ideas
Protein:
Turkey balls – add veges, egg white and ww breadcrumbs. Roll and bake in oven at 300 for 35min.
Turkey muffins – add veges and add on muffin tin, bake for 35 min at 300
Ground turkey – cook on stovetop
Chicken – baked, grilled or boiled
Salmon – bake or broil
Whole chicken- bake and once cooled cut into pieces. You can separate and in portions. Add to salads, make chicken salad etc.. The options are endless
Turkey meatballs and muffins can be stored in one containers or freezer ziplog. They are easy to break apart.
For Stove top Ground turkey, chicken and fish you will have to put away per serving in either container or ziplog bags.
Grains:
Whole grain pasta
Brown rice
Quinoa
Couscous
You can cook all of the above in big amounts. Once cool you can package each serving amount in ziplog bags. When ready to hit take out of ziplog bag and put on plate to heat.
Vegetables:
You can bake in the oven, stirfry or grill in bulk.
