My most recent meal prep!

This is one of my most recent meal preps that I shared with my private accountability group on Facebook. I also shared a short clip with them… I am trying to get better with this whole social media thing and work on my youtube page and IG as well!! (stay tuned). For now here is an image of my food prepped for my family. I also prep some foods for my daughter as well.

Meal Prep Ideas

Protein:
Turkey balls – add veges, egg white and ww breadcrumbs. Roll and bake in oven at 300 for 35min.
Turkey muffins – add veges and add on muffin tin, bake for 35 min at 300
Ground turkey – cook on stovetop
Chicken – baked, grilled or boiled
Salmon – bake or broil
Whole chicken- bake and once cooled cut into pieces. You can separate and in portions. Add to salads, make chicken salad etc.. The options are endless

Turkey meatballs and muffins can be stored in one containers or freezer ziplog. They are easy to break apart.
For Stove top Ground turkey, chicken and fish you will have to put away per serving in either container or ziplog bags.

Grains:
Whole grain pasta
Brown rice
Quinoa
Couscous

You can cook all of the above in big amounts. Once cool you can package each serving amount in ziplog bags. When ready to hit take out of ziplog bag and put on plate to heat.

Vegetables:
You can bake in the oven, stirfry or grill in bulk.

Todays recipe that I will share is something very simple, delish and perfect for these cold winter days and also 21 Day Fix Approved!! It really has made counting calories and measuring food with a scale so old times for me! This little containers are my measuring cups and that is all I need!!! Chicken Soup with a Latin Twist

Ingredients:
Onions
Fresh Garlic
Cilantro (Lots of this for extra flavor)
Carrots
Celery
Chicken Breast
Brown Rice
Oregano
Sea Salt

I dice up the onions, garlic, carrots, celery and cilantro… and all other ingredients. Sautéed with a lil Pam… once browned I add water to the pot. Add Chicken.. About 25 minutes in I add 1/2 Brown rice… Cover pot and let it all boil. After about an hour I pull out the chicken.. Shred it (optional) and put it back in.. Once fully done I let it cool and serve with fresh cilantro sprinkled on top! So yummy and delish.. You can also add raw diced onions, tomato and a little bit of sliced avocado.. SOOO delish.. I am Colombian and we always add this to our soups to give it a nice kick.

Hello there! Let me formly introduce myself :)

As I briefly mentioned before I am a MOMMY, to an amazing lil girl, wife to my partner in crime, child of GOD, Meal Prepper, lover for healthy meals and recipes and a dedicated DIYer.. give me anything and I will try to transform it.. from furniture to clothing to headbands..Besides all of this I am also a fitness freak! I have a new-found love for fitness and am here to share my journey. It has not been an easy rode, but one very much worth it. As I write more and more I will share bits and pieces about me, but to give you a short version.. Hubby and I were depressed, felt like crap, ate and drank our life away, until one day it all changed. I decided to make a change and join a challenge. That day I decided I was going to give it my all and shortly after hubby joined me on my journey. Today we have a 100lbs weight loss combined, both Beachbody coaches and we share our journey in hopes to inspire. We now help people with their health, fitness and gain financial freedom. Our lives have changes tremendously as we help change one life at a time.
